2025 RPEQ election


The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (Board) recently announced an election by ballot, for the election of a registered professional engineer (RPEQ) for appointment as a member of the Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland. This notice includes details about how to cast a vote and about the provider CorpVote administrating voting in the election.

The election will be held on the election day: Thursday 27 March 2025.

Voting will open: 9:00 AM (AEST) Wednesday, 19 March 2025.

Voting will close: 5:00 PM (AEST) Thursday 27 March 2025.

All RPEQs whose registration was current on the day the notice of election was published (9 January 2025) are eligible to vote.

Voting service provider - CorpVote

CorpVote have been appointed as the voting services provider to administer voting in the election. CorpVote are also responsible answering all questions about the ballot. You can contact CorpVote:

How to cast your vote – online

You will receive an email from CorpVote (from email address evote@netvote.com.au) on 19 March 2025. The email will provide you a unique voter access code (VAC) and a link to cast your vote. The link will also give you access to all available candidate statements.

If you have not received CorpVote’s email by 9:00 AM (AEST) Wednesday, 19 March 2025, please contact them for assistance (contact details above).

How to cast your vote – by post

If you require a paper ballot form, you may request one by contacting CorpVote. Please make any such request by no later than 26 February 2025. Requests will not be accepted after that date.

Election result

The candidate with the highest number of votes is elected. After the appointment, the Registrar will give each candidate a notice of the outcome of the election and will publish a notice of the candidate elected.

CorpVote will email you with information about the call for nominations tomorrow. The email will come from evote@netvote.com.au. Please check your spam or junk mail folders.

The Board recently announced an election by ballot, for the election of a registered professional engineer (RPEQ) for appointment as a member of the Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (Board).

The election will be held on the election day: Thursday 27 March 2025, with voting opening at 9:00AM (AEST) Wednesday 19 March 2025 and will close at 5:00PM on election day, Thursday 27 March 2025.

Nominations are now open for election to the Board. All RPEQs whose registration was current on the day the notice of election was published (9 January 2025) are eligible to nominate.

How to nominate

Nominations:

  • must be in the approved form available from CorpVote (see link above);
  • must be received by CorpVote no later than 5:00 PM (AEST) Monday, 17 February 2025; and
  • may be accompanied by a written statement by the candidate (no more than 200 words).
