In accordance with section 21 of the Professional Engineers Regulation 2019, we would like to inform everyone of the result of the ballot to elect a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) to the Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (Board).
The successful candidate is Dr Emma Eriksson (RPEQ 09841). Dr Eriksson has now been appointed to the Board.

This election saw a large number of RPEQs take part in the ballot and a number of the RPEQs who stood for election received several hundred votes, reflecting the high-quality field of candidates.

We acknowledge and thank all candidates for their willingness to stand for election and represent their peers.
