Workshops, webinars and presentations
The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland provides free compliance assistance presentations, workshops and webinars to help organisations understand and meet their obligations under the Professional Engineers Act 2002 (PE Act).
Whether you and/or your team are new to the requirements or seeking to deepen their knowledge, our sessions offer practical guidance on navigating the RPEQ system, professional accountability, direct supervision and engineering governance. Our sessions can also be a gentle nudge to help get your engineers who are not registered, registered as RPEQs.
We can deliver presentations onsite at your workplace or online, depending on what works best for you and your team. With appropriate notice, BPEQ Board members may also be available to attend, offering valuable insights from the regulator’s perspective.
Presentation topics
Our presentation topics include:
- RPEQ basics
- Assessment information to become a RPEQ
- Direct supervision guidelines
- Prescriptive standards information
- Compliance essentials
- Discipline details, including recent case notes
- Recommendations for RPEQ and organisational best practice
BPEQ can also work with organisations to build more bespoke presentations tailored to particular audiences or engagement needs. Please note, BPEQ is not able to provide specific legal or technical advice during our presentations.

In engineering, a signature is just the beginning.
Real accountability spans the entire lifecycle of a project
A project doesn’t begin nor end at sign-off. Neither does responsibility.
RPEQs deliver Queensland’s professional engineering services across design, delivery, and maintenance that keep communities and the public safe.
Choose integrity. Choose accountability. Choose RPEQ.
Think engineer, think RPEQ.
