Book in your 2026 presentation today
Deputy chairperson and Academic representative Maureen Hassall giving a presentation about the RPEQ system to a group of engineers in Brisbane.
BPEQ is now taking bookings for 2026 presentations, with sessions available from February through to December. Councils, private companies, government agencies, universities and engineering firms are invited to secure a slot early to ensure their teams get guidance on the Professional Engineers Act (PE Act) and the responsibilities of RPEQs.
Each presentation is tailored to your unique needs and audience. Whether you’re onboarding graduates, refreshing staff on compliance with the PE Act, or assisting leadership in understanding when and why RPEQs must be engaged. Sessions can be delivered in person or online and cover key topics including:
Understanding the requirements of the PE Act
Guidance around direct supervision and prescriptive standards
Obligations for organisations engaging professional engineering services
Common compliance issues and how to avoid them
The registration process and pathways for engineers to become RPEQs
In 2025, BPEQ saw a marked increase in presentation requests, particularly from councils and industry wanting to strengthen their governance around engineering decisions. Demand is expected to grow again in 2026 as organisations continue to prioritise risk, compliance, and safe engineering practice.
Booking early helps ensure you secure your preferred date and allows BPEQ to tailor content to your audience. To request a session, simply complete the Book a Presentation form on the BPEQ website below. A member of the BPEQ engagement team will respond to your request within five business days.
We look forward to working with you in 2026.
